How much time should I book if I am playing golf?
Give yourself approximately one hour per golfer for 18 holes. Driving range time and skill level will affect times.
The final hour of all bookings is 50 min in length to accommodate cleaning and set up for the next group.
How big is the space?
With the golf simulator setup 20.5 ft wide x 50 ft. long
Without the simulator setup 20.5 ft. wide x 66 ft. long
What if I don’t list a sport I want to play, do I have access to the equipment?
No, most of our equipment is stored elsewhere with no access. If you decide you would like more sports equipment prior to your booking, we may be able to accommodate but it’s not guaranteed. We will not be able to accommodate any requests during your booking.
Can I bring alcohol?
Our space is not licensed for alcohol.
Can I bring food? Or have food delivered to the space during my booking?
Of course! We encourage you to have fun and make it your own when you’re in our space. Just don’t forget to clean up when you’re done! For deliveries, the address is 460 Campbell Street, Cobourg. Please note, there is a $200 cleaning fee if the space is not clean.
Do I have to take my garbage with me or are there supplied garbage and recycling pails?
There are supplied garbages and recycling bins. Any large boxes can be left beside the recycling bin.
Why is it booked in 50 minute time slots?
We account for a 10 minute clean up time before the next booking. If your booking is 2 hours long, you will have 1 hour and 50 minutes.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
You may cancel your booking by contacting bookings@shiftcobourg.ca. Please allow 24 – 48 hours for the refund to appear on your credit card. If you have given less than 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, you will not receive a refund.
If I can’t make it to my booked time slot, can I give it to someone else?
If you are unable to make it to your booked time you may pass it onto someone else and remain responsible for the group under the terms, conditions and liability waiver.
Will other booked parties be in the space the same time as mine?
No, you are booking the whole space and we only allow one booking in there at a time.
Can I visit the space before booking?
Yes, please contact bookings@shiftcobourg.ca to setup a tour.
Are we allowed to bring decorations?
Yes, you may decorate! We just ask that you respect our space and do not affix anything to our walls using use push pins, nails, etc. Also, please refrain from using confetti, duct tape, glitter, stickers or silly string in our space.
Are we responsible for cleaning up?
Yes. Please leave the space as you found it when you arrived. There is a $200 cleaning fee if there is a need for us to bring in professional cleaners after your rental.
What are the hours I can book?
Our space is opened at 6:00 am and the last booking is at 9:00 pm. If you would like to book the space for more than one hour at 9:00 pm, contact bookings@shiftcobourg.ca.
Will there be someone onsite during my booking should I need help with something?
There are offices attached to the space that are leased to another company. Please do not walk through those offices looking for help. Someone may not be onsite during your booking to help you but there is someone on-call during your booking. You will be given the phone number in your confirmation email.
Is there free WiFi available?
Yes! We have free WiFi and the password is posted in the space for everyone to join.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay,PayPal and Google Pay through our website.
Can I bring my pet into your space?
No, no pets are allowed in the space.
Is your space accessible?
The space can be accessible.
